The Studio By Jaymz is a family owned studio run by James and Carly who head up a team of dedicated photographers, stylist and editors (see them below) based in Darlington, Co Durham and they work for clients right across the country.

For over 20 years, James has explored many areas of photography, from originally developing and printing his own work at home as a 15 year old, through to the present day where the very latest digital technology offers us almost unlimited creative opportunities to produce, for you, wonderful images that captures the emotion and fun of our time working with you.

James' style of photography is all based around fun and you enjoying your session.

Carly is a trained artist and joined the company over 4 years ago. She is a wiz with Photoshop bringing all her artistic talents to bear in the digital world. She also often works a second photographer at Weddings. 

At our studio, on Woodland Darlington, whether it's Portraits, Weddings, Lifestyle or Pregnancy shoots our philosophy is pretty simple... before any photographs are shot, we take plenty of time to understand what our clients want, and always make sure that they are delighted with the final results. The whole emphasis is on quality, not quantity - simple as that.
